Sorry Luke, we didnt reply to time..we are happy for early start...probably a good time before it gets too hot ,also will leave time for other things like shopping or relaxing by the pool...see I am thinking positively

On another matter...who will be wearing stockings and taking aspirin or injecting blood thinners before they fly???

Also what is opinion on travellers cheques/debit cards...other methods of getting hands on money???

Re Cirque the booking is via mgm website.

Re heli i am trying to swing a deal so will get back to you shortly.

I've got the drum on where to go for Letterman..so hopefully we can get tiks.

We'll be using debit and credit card, my opinion is travellers cheques not worth the time waste..

..and i wont be wearing stockings! (in public)

If the Woods are interested it is the Grand Canyon Picnic Tour through https://www.airvegas.com/. They are doing it for us at $299pp... I did hear a runour that Marty may shout this for all of us given we are all traveling so far...that is very generous can this be confirmed Marty?

Hi Luke,

thanks for doing all the organising and booking the helicopter trip and cirque tickets, please let us know how much we owe you...it must be quite a sum.Is it the early morning trip??I will pass the info on to the woods.

What is everyone doing re mobile phones??If we buy a sim card over there how will we get new phone numbers to other people...and Luke, will you two be taking a phone with your number with you...just wondering how we would contact you when we arrive .I guess if there is a problem we can communicate via the hotel

Bec what did you say the go was with DrPhil...Was it no jeans and dress in subdued colours like work clothes???

Yes Chez, no jeans and business attire. And no patterns, as they don't appear well on camera.

I have also just received confirmation for Sharon to join us, if you could pass it on to her. She may still be too busy to check the forum.

Hi Luke- maybe we could turn it into a game.... if you are within 2 KGs either side, you win and we pay you for the trip, but if you're WAY off, well, sorry- but you guys pick up the bill!!

What do you reckon, Marty?? Anyone??

Yay! Have paid for Vegas (1st - 5th anyway) and have paid for Camden. Charlene could hardly understand a word i said so I just gave her my confirmation number and my credit card number. Great. The guy in Vegas must be more worldly as he had no trouble understanding me Wink . Did I just offend anyone Champ?? Didn't mean to.

Our friends from Florida are going to join us sometime in Vegas and take Conrad riding at the Red Canyon (?).

Veronika's passport has arrived and we are ready to go!!!

Jacqueline - where are you ???????????????????????????????????

No Offence

Do you know how many blank stares I got after I spoke. And I don’t think it was because they had gotten lost in my eyes?

I'm one of the first to criticise the South’s inability to interpret anything that’s isn’t bluntly obvious. Just remember to talk slow, don’t use big words, smile at the end of every conversation and say Jesus or God bless as much as possible.

I hope Catherine continues to not look at the forum.

In reply to Ancy.....I could think of a lot of phrases less suitable than JESUS that you have used over time sweetheart.

Anyway I am trying to come to terms with the fact that I might NOT be coming at all. Sad Sad Sad

Hoping for a better outcome from my Doctor on Friday....maybe i could bribe him???

Spoke to Frank tonight....he is usually very level headed ..and he suggested thinking like a man.....does that mean without emotion?

Marty understands, but I will feel a dreadful void...also....I will miss my little man for a MONTH. Sad Sad

Fingers crossed....

Been to see yet ANOTHER Doctor today and he said although I might suffer pain from the long flight there shouldn't be anything more sinister likely to occur.
SO I AM COMING... cheers cheers

Just hope my GP will prescribe some strong medication in case.

As Bec said today..."You would be in pain at home knowing what you are missing"...which is absolutely right.

Wonderful to have daughters and a son in law so keen to have me join their holiday even to the point of carrying my suitcases.

WELCOME CAT.. cheers Hope you are not suffering to much from the trip.

Thanks to my lovely sister for the comments....I love you.
