| Hi Ancy
I will try and post more but there is a Willy Nilly ban so this is a serious one.
We have now booked MGM Grand. $142 per night incl taxes through US Airways travel phone no is 800-455-0123.
This is best deal we found, there may be better but am over looking now so its done and dusted for us!

| Hey,what is going on over there ,has the pommie weather distorted your thinking one minute we are organising group accommodation ,same air flights and the next going it alone .Fair enough it is a pain in coordinating everyone but communication would be good. Did your flight from LA to LV change with the MGM booking hence the good price ? I will ring that number today and organise our accommodation but it would be good to know wherabouts in MGM you have booked ?There are only about 5500 rooms so the chances of us all being in the same location would be 100-1. Will be in posting touch with opur details! | |

| Brad's cousin has just sent me an email and told me about a website where they offer rooms at The Signature @ MGM grand for discounted rates. I've checked and sent off a few enquiries, but looks like it will be a similar price to what you have all been quoted for the MGM grand, but this is the VIP section. Self contained apartments...with flat screen TV's in the bathroom! I'll let you know what they tell me. You actually rent them direct from the owners. FYI, the website is: http://www.vrbo.com/I've also been looking for NYC. Could be promising. | |

| Hi all, group discounts only availably for rooms of 10 or more and to get a package deal with flights and accomm needed to book an LA-LAV return flight not just one way (according to US Air travel).
Sorry but at the moment we are travelling the 'path of least resistance' given there are quite a lot of us and my understanding was people wanted to stay in different casinos.
Bec
I have sussed the Signature in the past and the rooms look very nice although it's a separate hotal apparently in a 'non-gaming' area so it seems isolated from rest of MGM. It doesn't even appear on the MGM map. So therefore due to the good deal we just booked a room in the Grand Tower.

| I thought everyone but Bec, Ancy and Marg had already decided to stay at MGM Grand? Are you talking about rm allocations? I did not think they allocated rms when you book but when check in? When you ring that number you can check and maybe they can make a note to place you on the same floor as us? We just booked a standard room on Grand Tower (am assuming there is only one Grand Tower?) If we r not on same floor, this won't be a big deal as only a short lift ride away. On the flights, last I heard was that you and mum - as well as Bec, Ancy and Marg - were doing mulit destination flights. As this is usually through one airline it would not be possible to get on same flights. However if you are not doing this all you have to do is book it now to get on same flight which is why we emailed you the confirmaton. Gail has already done this and is on same flight as us. If you would prefer to go at different time, then that's fine we will just meet up with you in Vegas. We booked that time as it kind of maximises time in LA and still early enough to look around Vegas that night. Sorry if it looked like we were going it alone but not much time left now and need to make decisions otherwise will still be making plans in America!!! | |

| I also forgot to say that booking the room via this number requires you to pay for the room outright. No discounts for group booking. | |

| Hi all Looking at booking the following chopper flight for October 2 (?), let me know who's keen or if you've seen a better deal. I have emailed them asking if they do group discounts. It includes limo transfers. http://www.looktours.com/allamericanheli.htmlIt's a lot cheaper than most and they guarantee will not get cheaper. Some people say dont pre-book and others say make sure you pre-book ova the net...... | |

| Hi everyone,
Luke made inquiries about booking for Cirque du soleil KA at MGM. We were told they book out (even on week nights) so to book early. We are keen to go, are there any other takers? It is not on Sunday or Monday nights so would have to go Tues or Wed night. The prices are $69, $99, $125, and $150. We are happy to book this as well if people let us know. I guess there are heaps of different shows on so I guess it is just choosing which show is best to see in Vegas.
Let us know what u think...would like to book show and heli tour by weekend.

| We did the helicopter flight in Vegas and just booked the day before. There is a heli pad on the Strip and a booking counter there, open til all hours.
Luke, the Signature is connected to the MGM by a walkway. Considering Harry, we're not that fussed about not being directly at the casino (you're surrounded the whole time you're there anyway), as kids can't go in anyway.
Gab, I have heard back from the enquiries I made. Some weren't available, but the one that was has asked someone else he knows, and their unit is available for $825 (4 nights incl. taxes and daily maid service). If you are still interested, let me know and I'll get back to this guy.
I presume averyone else is OK. Let me know if that is not the case.

| Hi Bec, the signature rooms are very beautiful. They are slightly larger rooms too so even more reason to stay in one of those rooms if you have children as I guess you will be spending a bit of time in the room as well.
Gab, is that what you were thinking of as well?
Bec, Luke found a deal for the heli tours that cost $280 return trip inclu transfers. We thought of booking that cause all the other ones were up around $400 something. Do you think that sounds cheaper or more expensive then the prices on the strip? Also can you remember how long you were actually in the air?

I think 2 other casinos are also linked by foot bridge may be worth you considering.
Marty
Heli not booked yet, let me know if you have a date preference. I priced it with the concierge desk at MGM and they quoted $475 for same trip but with another company. So cheaper option sounds good.

| What tour were you thinking of doing by helicopter? Grand Canyon? We only flew over the Strip at night, so it wasn't very long in the air...maybe half an hour? I've still got the tickets from our one, and thought it might have a website, but only a phone number, if you want to call them? They may not even be there anymore.
If you're interested in trying to call, the number is:

| Looking at doing the Grand Canyon tour. 1.5 hrs flying with landing in the bottom of the Canyon. Light lunch and champers, limo transfers and vegas strip included.
I have made several phone calls the best price for this tour is $299 its gone up $10 due to fuel surcharge.
If anyone else interested can always book later. We will be in 2 choppers as max 6 per chopper and we have 7.
I am told the best time is the morning but this means a 6:15am pickup. So how do people feel about this? Alternatively there's lunch time or late afternoon..but told it gets very hot out there.
